On Friday, May 16th you have an opportunity to participate in the most unique fundraising event offered to the Rochester community in many years. For a donation of $1,000 or more, either as a single contribution or in total pledges collected, you can rappel down the side of the First Federal Plaza in downtown Rochester, NY. You don’t need any special training.
Monies raised go to support urban scouting programs, including the 40 afterschool programs run in Rochester schools and an opportunity to attend three summer camps. Your contributions will offer urban youth who desperately want and need Scouting the opportunity to fully participate. Last year more than 50 businesspeople and Scout supporters rappelled 21 stories when this event debuted in May. And many enjoyed the thrill so much, they’re planning to do it again!
Join us in support of Rochester’s urban youth and rappel 21 Stories for Scouts!
